What is USDA Organic?
USDA Organic is the registered seal of the National Organic Program of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). The seal may only be used on products labelled "100% Organic" or "Organic" (at least 95% organic content).
Products and labels carrying the seal must be reviewed and approved by a USDA-accredited certifying agent. As the seal is a registered trademark, misuse is subject to penalties.
