What is PIHA?
The Paris International Honey Awards (PIHA) is an international honey quality competition with entries from many countries. Products are evaluated by an expert jury in categories such as quality, taste and packaging design.
Each year the competition brings together hundreds of products from different countries, and the best honeys receive platinum, gold and silver medals.
What does a medal prove?
Winning a medal in an independent evaluation by an international jury shows that a honey has been compared with the world's honeys against the same criteria for taste, purity and quality, and has stood out.
Bingöl Balı: 13 international awards in London and Paris
In 2023–24, Bingöl Balı won 13 awards, including platinum and gold medals, in the extracted and blossom honey categories at international honey competitions held in London and Paris.
Bingöl Balı is produced without sugar feeding and is neither pasteurised nor micro-filtered. These awards are the international reflection of GürAta's commitment to keeping honey natural.
